MEET JANTZEN
Husband. Father. Worship Leader. Candidate for Maine State Representative, District 7
I’m not a career politician. I’m a husband, a father of four, a hotel manager, and a lifelong servant—whether in church, business, or my community. I was raised in conservative farm country in the Midwest, where faith, family, and hard work weren’t slogans—they were simply how you lived.
Today, my family and I make our home in Houlton, Maine. I serve as the general manager of a small independent hotel and lead worship in our local church. Over the years, I’ve worked in ministry, live production, customer service, and management—real jobs, with real people, solving real problems. Those experiences have shaped my conviction that we need leaders who live the values they speak about, not just recite them when it’s convenient.
I’m deeply concerned about the direction of our state. Too often, Augusta is driven by power instead of principle. I believe it’s time for ordinary citizens—with a backbone, a Bible, and a willingness to serve—to step up. That’s why I’m running for State Representative: to bring a steady voice for faith, family, and freedom, and to stand for the values that made our state and our country strong.
This campaign isn’t about building a career in politics—it’s about building a future worth passing on to the next generation. I will show up, listen first, and work hard to ensure Northern Maine has a strong voice in Augusta.
